From April 20-26 Activate Good will bring volunteers together to create vibrant murals at Wake County schools as part of our eLOVEate Schools Project. These murals will serve as lasting symbols of hope, encouragement, and unity, transforming everyday spaces into sources of motivation for students and educators alike. Volunteers will bring these murals to life and learn about the importance of art, education, and community engagement in shaping the next generation. We have one at Neuse River Middle on Tuesday, April 22 and another at Carver Elementary that Saturday, April 26. All supplies are included, WCPSS does require background checks (link for that is emailed to you when you register) and we will be guided by a professional artist.
The mural projects are just a few of many opportunities to serve during National Volunteer Week 2025. Across the Triangle, hundreds of local nonprofits are opening their doors for volunteers to support causes that matter—providing meals, mentoring youth, revitalizing public spaces, and more. Nonprofits and schools need you right now, so please join in this impactful week of service. Please email our super Programs Manager, Dawn (dawn@activategood.org), if you need help signing up your team for a project.
