Ambassador
The Loading Dock is a series of coworking campuses that believe people and companies grow best in community. We have three locations, two in Raleigh and one in Wake Forest! We operate under an ethos of “people first” which provides excellent hospitality and a valuable community for our members.
We are looking for an outgoing, organized individual to assist Community Managers at either our Beryl, Dock 1053, or Wake Forest locations. The ideal Ambassador takes pride in establishing and maintaining our vibrant community, offers excellent hospitality and filters all work through the lens of an incredible member experience.
Job Description: Ambassadors work under the leadership of Community Managers to provide a positive visit for all members and guests.
A typical shift may include:
Maintaining a hospitable culture for members and guests
Greeting guests and informing members of guest arrival
Fulfilling front desk responsibilities like answering phones and sorting mail
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by brewing coffee, loading/unloading dishwasher, restocking supplies, etc.
Troubleshoot when/if issues arise
The ideal candidate has:
An outgoing personality, an initiator of relationships
A positive, “get it done” attitude
A desire and ability to provide an excellent customer experience
Deep attention to detail
Enjoys maintaining a clean and organized facility
A true “team player” mindset
A knack for organization, time management, and prioritizing tasks
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Able to work independently and take initiative
Hours: Consistent five hour shift each week, or two 2.5 hour shifts
Work Location: Dock 1053 (Five Points Raleigh), Beryl Rd (West Raleigh), Wake Forest (Downtown)
Commitment: Ambassadors commit to three months of service at a time. If something comes up and you are unable to serve during your shift, please provide at least 48 hours notice to your Community Manager. If more than three scheduling conflicts arise during a three month period, we will reevaluate your Ambassadorship. It is important that we provide the best service possible to our members and we rely on Ambassadors to uphold a consistent and hospitable culture.
