One of our newest campuses, located in Wake Forest, has a bunch of fun things nearby. We put together the Top 5 things near our WF campus that are within walking distance or a short drive! Check out this list of fun options.

1. After Work Fun: Looking for something fun to do after work? The famous White St. Brewing Co. is right down the road! You need to try their Kolsch beer. We have Norse Brewing as a neighbor as well! They’ve got new craft beer releases on-tap and great Scandinavian food with a Southern twist. Last but not least there is Bodega Tapas, Wine, and Rum. The menu has an eclectic range of cold and hot small plates with influences from around the world. Bodega offers wine, a rum list that is offered in 1 ounce and 2-ounce tastings, and a popular rum-based cocktail menu with house-made ingredients.

2. Coffee Spots - We will have coffee brewing on-site, but sometimes it’s nice to go for a walk and grab an iced coffee or latte! Black & White Coffee Roasters is a short walk from Loading Dock and has amazing coffee. Another cozy coffee spot is also minutes away, Wake Forest Coffee Company! One more spot that has coffee, as well as sandwiches and starters, is the Sugar Magnolia Cafe. Stop by the cafe for a little bit of everything. 

3. Wake Forest Farmers Market - Working on the weekends is never fun, but we’ve got a neighbor that can help - The Wake Forest Farmers Market! Walk over to the farmers market on Saturdays from 8am-12pm and check out the amazing vendors and grab some fresh produce to take home! 

4. Food spots - There’s a TON of food options surrounding our Wake Forest campus! Grab a slice from Pizza Amore or a burger from Burger Shoppe. Looking for a “something-for-everyone” menu? Over the Falls is a great option. And of course, we must mention where to get a sweet treat too! Planet Cakes Bake Shoppe is a delicious bakery and dessert shop right down the road. You can also grab a scoop from Lumpy’s Ice Cream!  

5. HL Miller Park - Need a break from work? Head over to HL Miller Park and enjoy the trails or just enjoy nature at a picnic table! Take your dog to work with you? This is the perfect spot for an afternoon walk or play sesh. The park is open from dusk until dawn and is within walking distance of our campus.
